Low Season

In general terms, low season weeks are weeks before Christmas, the entire month of January, and from the end of March onwards till the season closes.

The exception to this rule are various lower altitude resorts (ie. Kitzbuhel, Innsbruck , Interlaken , Gstaad ) which begin low season early March.

High Season

Christmas, New Years, Carnival Week, Easter Week, and the months of February and March (see exceptions above).
