DAY TO DAY ITINERARY
Day 1: Ptuj
Individual transfer to the oldest town in Slovenia. Spend the rest of your day in the pool and spa area of the thermal springs, or perhaps explore the historical city centre.
Day 2: Ptuj - Maribor - Ptuj (approx. 60 km)
The sunny city of Maribor, surrounded by the Pohorje mountains and winegrowing hills on the banks of the River Drau is waiting for your visit.
Day 3: Ptuj - Radenci (approx. 50 km)
On todays bike-leg you can enjoy all the delicous specialities of this region, a glass of fruity wine, the fresh pressed pumpkin-seed-oil, refreshment in the natural lake and relaxation in the wide spa-area of the thermal-spa in Radenci.
Day 4: Radenci - Bad Radkersburg - Radenci (approx. 42 km)
A short trip into Austria is on your programme today. Along the river Mur you leave Radenci, the town of the 3 hearts (famous mineral water), and bike through the nature-park "Goricko.
Day 5: Radenci - Moravske Toplice (approx. 40 km)
On the Thermal-bike-path, you bike into the granary of Slovenia, the green region "Prekmurje". Moravske Toplice, one of the most modern thermal-spa-areas of Slovenia, is your destination.
Day 6: Hungary - round trip (approx. 53 km)
On your way to the neighbouring country of Hungary, you can buy a nice souvenir in one of the numerous potteries. Back in Slovenia you can refresh your engergy and power on the "Bukovnica Reservoir lake": The natural radiation emitting from the earth is said to have healing and soothing powers to both body and soul.
Day 7: Moravske Toplice
Individual departure or extend your stay in Europe.
AIRPORT / TRANSFERS
The nearest airport is Maribor however Graz or Zagreb are better options for international flights.
Rail transfers from Graz or Zagreb to Ptuj (2 1/2 hours) are available for $55.00 one way.
