With more than 13 ski areas surrounding the largest alpine lake in North America, Lake Tahoe straddles both Nevada and California, combining breath-taking scenery in one of the most beautiful settings on earth complete with all the excitement imaginable.
Along Lake Tahoe's north shore, you can experience the Olympic grandeur of Squaw Valley, wide open terrain of Alpine Meadows and exciting Northstar at Tahoe, while on the famed south shore, scenic Heavenly, Sierra at Tahoe, and powder-filled Kirkwood, just to name a few.
Heavenly is the perfect blend of sunny California days and wild Nevada nights, with over 150 bars and nightclubs!! You will never be at a loss for non-ski activities with an array of dazzling casinos, big name entertainment, and world class restaurants.
Accommodation is close to the slopes plus frequent shuttles are available to most of the lakes surrounding ski area's. A rental car is an option here but certainly not essential.

Snowmaking:
One of America's largest snowmaking systems that cover 70% of the mountain trails. Heavenly features top to bottom snowmaking coverage in both California and Nevada, more coverage than any other Tahoe resort.
Snowboarding:
Heavenly offers snowboarding on 100% of the mountain. This season, the resort will offer a snowboard park, a snowboard-cross course, and a halfpipe. Several terrain features are also constructed regularly on the mountain, including spines, rolls and flat-tops.
