Ski Montana's New Frontier!

Moonlight Basin is a very special place. Unique in beauty, extraordinary in service, unmatched in friendliness, it's the New West, and you're invited to become a part of it!

Located on the north side of Lone Mountain, in Big Sky, Montana, Moonlight Basin is one of the newest ski resorts in the U.S. Although skiers are a new addition to Moonlight, homeowners and guests have come to Moonlight Basin for nearly a decade from all over the world - to enjoy the extraordinary Moonlight Basin lifestyle, and enjoy the skiing at neighbouring Big Sky Resort.

Now, Moonlight Basin proudly steps forward as America's newest, most exciting ski resort destination. You'll find extraordinary snow, superb lift access, amazing new ski terrain - and service that makes you feel as welcome as you do in your own home.

The resort sits at the edge of a 39-mile tract containing some of Montana's most beautiful scenery. Owned by a succession of railroad companies and used primarily for logging until 1992, this amazing place is experiencing an award-winning forest recovery-with a goal of placing the majority of the property in conservation easements and other protections.

Moonlight Basin. The good life starts the moment you arrive.
