Price

All prices posted on this website are "land only" and in Canadian dollars. We can also quote, and take payment, in US dollars if preferred. Our prices are guaranteed against currency fluctuations once deposits are taken.

Deposit

Our standard tour deposit is $300.00 per person. This amount is non-refundable therefore we recommend you consider Cancellation / Interuption Insurance, to protect you from unforeseen circumstances.

Our standard Credit Card Authorisation Form will be emailed to you at time of deposit. This form must be completed and either emailed or faxed back to us.

Balance of Payment

Due 50 days prior to departure.

Accepted Forms of Payment

We accept personal cheques, Visa or Mastercard. Payments by Amex incur a 3% surcharge.

Travel Insurance

Tour Material
About 3 weeks before your tour, you'll receive general information on your tour including how to get to the start hotel or boat, service phone numbers, travel tips and other helpful material.

Start of the tour
The tour starts in the afternoon or evening of day 1 with your arrival at your first hotel or boat.

End of the tour
The tour typically ends after breakfast on the last day. If you wish we can arrange a stay at a hotel for you that night.

Luggage
We will transport your luggage from hotel to hotel, so that when we arrive at the hotel that afternoon, your luggage will be waiting for you.

All our Cycle and Cruise tours are boat based therefore no luggage transportation is required.
  

Bicycle

We have included modern bicycle rentals in all our tours, to provide you with a more all-inclusive package. The bikes vary according to the terrain encountered, ie. in the Netherlands we use 5 speed touring bikes, while in Ireland we use 21 speed hybrids.

If you wish you can bring your own bike and a price reduction will apply, typically around $100.

All escorted tours include hands-on bicycle maintenance, should it be required. Our independent tours always include a local emergency service number.

Childrens bikes, tandems, baby seats, and Electro bikes may be requested but are subject to availability.

Helmet etc.

For hygiene and fitting purposes we request that you bring your own helmet and water bottles. If you want to use your own seat or clip-on pedals, let us know beforehand so we can make the appropriate arrangements.

Accommodations
We provide tours with a range of accommodation types, ranging from small B & B's and guesthouses, to more luxuriours 4 star hotels. In all cases we endeavour to use properties that reflect local character and tradition. On many tours, an upgrade may be possible to a higher standard.

All our prices are based on double occupancy. Single rooms can be provided however are always subject to availability at time of deposit.

Singles willing to share a room with another group member of the same sex will avoid paying a single surcharge. Once again, these are always subject to availability at time of deposit.

Meals
Included meals vary from tour to tour however breakfast is always included each day.

A half-board meal plan (breakfast and multi-course dinner) is an option on many of our land based tours, while full-board is included on most of our Cruise and Cycle itineraries.
