A relaxing tour through the second largest vineyard region of Germany! Beautiful villages with unique ambience, charming vineyard estates, hospitality, and the excellent wines of Pfalz are the ingredients of unforgettable days. On this fascinating cycle tour the 2000 year old history of the region waits to be explored, e.g. the dome of Speyer, as well as the German wine-capital Neustadt.
A number of daily routes can be chosen according to your own pleasure. The tour is very well suited for families with children as well as for the experienced cyclist.

After a short ride you reach Freinsheim (baroque town hall). You cycle to the wine-grower community Grünstadt to the medieval castle Neuleinigen. If you manage the ascent to the fortress, the panoramic view of the tavern will recompense the effort. Through the vineyards back to Bad Dürkheim.

Day 6: Vineyards of Bad Dürkheim, approx. 20 km
On the last day you have to visit the local wine-growers! You can visit the biggest wine barrel of the world. Of course it is also possible to enjoy the view and to rest on nice places. Back in Bad Dürkheim, a wine tasting is organised at the wine-grower Fitz-Ritter!
